translator technology for complex PCBs became a permanent feature of the range of services in 1993. One year later, the first fully automated tests of large series, PCB welding and the first prototype tests with flying-probe systems started. In 1995 the company increased its available space. In Niedernhall, the first of the current three external test facilities was established. In that year, the development of special test devices and handling systems was also started. The following years were marked by important innovations. In 2000, the Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) service was added. In 2001, Leitec for the first time offered its customers the fixture construction for equipped assemblies.
